Where I Am Now
Team Lead, Ground Network Software @ Astranis Space Technologies
I design and lead development of firmware for Astranis’ ground stations around the world, as well as the backend systems required to operate a satellite internet network.
I've brought over six software components to “Mission Ready” status, including application-level flight software for the Payload subsystem; microcontroller firmware for the RF front-end and software-defined radio; bootloaders and drivers for embedded Linux; and containerized services deployed on Kubernetes for space and ground command and control.

- Streamlined Linux configuration workflow with scripts and Makefiles to assist TI customers with custom board porting
- Formulated a minimal Linux and U-Boot configuration for AM64 processors to emulate the custom board port process

- Analyzed ResNet’s ability to extract general features which could strongly predict neural responses in the visual cortex
- Developed efficient pipeline in PyTorch to train Ridge and Lasso regressions on features extracted from pretrained CNNs

- Spearheaded the creation of the MDB Blog and MDB resource page, providing technical resources and commentary to 1.5K monthly active users, increasing the visibility of the club on campus

- Coordinated with 7 instructors to design and teach an 80-hour all-encompassing iOS and Android curriculum to 17 Berkeley students over the course of 5 weeks"

- Fought political apathy by organizing voter registration drives and activism campaigns, encouraging 100s of students to become civically engaged
